Referral from the Public Services Committee 

re: Report of the Director of Public Works  -2022 second quarter update of capital projects

At the July 18th meeting of the Public Services Committee the following resolution was passed:

That the report of the Director of Public Works re: 2022 second quarter update of capital projects be received and forwarded to Council for information;

And that staff be directed to prepare a cost analysis report with recommendation of doing the Hillside Dr. N project in-house versus contracting the work out and to bring the report to Council.

Referral from the Public Services Committee

Re: Report from Director of Public Works - Street light cabinet and control box

At the July 18th meeting of the Public Services Committee the following resolution was passed:

That Staff Report dated July 7^th, 2022 of the Director of Public Works be received;

And That it be forwarded to council for the approval to purchase a 332 cabinet and controller from Steel Control Services in the amount of $36,718.⁵⁰ plus HST.

And that the cost is budgeted towards the annual emergency roads capital account for 2022.

Referral from the Public Services Committee Report 

Re: Report from Director of Public Works - Surface Treatment of 6km's of Dunlop Shores Road 

At the July 18th meeting of the Public Services Committee the following resolution was passed:

That Staff Report dated July 11^th, 2022 of the Director of Public Works be received;

And That it be forwarded to council for the approval to apply a double surface treatment layer to 6,000 linear meters of Dunlop Shores Road in the amount of $675,000.⁰⁰ plus applicable taxes to Beamish Construction Inc.

And that it be budgeted from the 2022 Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund located in the Public Works roads reserve.
